My Ratings of Clothing Condition
| NRFB / NRFP | Never removed from box or package. Original condition. Box may have some wear. |
| MIB / MIP | In original box/package. May have been removed. Packaging may show some wear. |
| Mint | Like new, right out of the box, no play wear. (Rare in my collection.) |
| NM / Near Mint | Bright color and crisp material, no flaws, no missing buttons, very gentle play wear. |
| EX / Excellent | Bright color and fairly crisp, may have a minor reparable flaw, gentle play wear. |
| VG / Very Good | Color may be faded, not very crisp due to general play wear, may have minor flaws. |
| GC / Good | Not crisp, may have been washed, general play wear, still good for display. |
| Fair | Flaws may be reparable, still useful for display until a better one comes along. |
| TLC | Major flaws, not displayable as is, but many parts useful for repairing other items. |
| POOR | Buttons, zippers, snaps, etc. can still be salvaged here. I never throw anything out!! |
| From My Barbie Room: I have been collecting Mod Era Barbie for several years. I am knowledgeable about the 1967 to 1974 Barbies, but I am not an expert in this field. I am simply a collector for the love of Mod Barbie and her fabulous period fashions. I do not refer to anything as 'mint' unless it is right out of the box, and had no play wear, other than my photographing it on a doll. In my Mod Era collection, 'mint' is rare indeed. All items on these pages are in my personal possession. The Bob Mackie, Designer, and Collectors Series Barbies are from my daughter's personal collection. Most dolls are NFRB with their original shipping cartons. Displayed dolls have been kept in individual custom display cases, and are in pristine condition, unless clearly stated otherwise. These Barbies would be a wonderful addition to any collection. A Note for Buyers: I try to be extremely accurate with my descriptions, so there will be no disappointment. Questions are always welcome. My personal attention will be given to your purchases with communication, careful packaging, and prompt shipping. Thank you for your interest! |
